As many of you know, the global release of the Galaxy Ring took place on July 24, two weeks after its unveiling at the Unpacked event in Paris. However, not every market around the world made the cut on July 24, and some, like Brazil, are only now getting the chance to sell Samsung's first smart ring.

Indeed, the Galaxy Ring is now finally available in Brazil. Available for pre-order, to be precise. The pre-order window will close on October 18, after which the Galaxy Ring will be freely available for purchase from physical and online Samsung stores.

How much does the Galaxy Ring and measuring kit cost?

In Brazil, Samsung is now offering the Galaxy Ring on pre-order terms for R$3,499, which translates to around $640. Although the price is much higher compared to other markets, color and size options are the same.

The Galaxy Ring is available for pre-order in nine sizes — 5 through 13 on the US standard — and three colors: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold.

More details after the video

If you don't know your ring size, you can specify this upon ordering the Galaxy Ring online, and Samsung will send you an official measuring kit before you complete the order.

Once the measuring kit arrives in your mailbox and you have your ring size, you'll need to access your pending Galaxy Ring order online and complete it.

Asking for an official measuring kit from Samsung will set you back R$99 ($18). However, upon completing the Galaxy Ring pre-order, you will get R$99 off the Galaxy Ring at checkout. Essentially, the measuring kit ends up being free, but you have to pay R$99 upfront until you find your ring size and complete your order.

The Galaxy Ring can help you monitor your sleep, heart rate, stress, and menstrual cycles. It is equipped with a skin temperature sensor, an accelerometer, and a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor. It sports an 18mAh (size 5) to 23.5mAh (size 13) battery that lasts up to 7 days and comes with a charging case that holds a 361mAh charge.
