Introduction
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is expected to be Samsung's flagship tablet for 2024. It succeeds the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra that was launched in mid-2024. It will likely use a design similar to its predecessor but have a significant change in its internals. It will reportedly use a MediaTek chip instead of a Qualcomm one.
Design
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is a giant, slim tablet with a design similar to the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. It has an aluminum frame and an IP68-rated body for dust and water resistance.
It has a 14.6-inch screen with thin bezels and a dual-camera setup on the rear.
Just next to its camera setup, there is a dedicated area to attach the bundled S Pen stylus magnetically. You can rest the S Pen there when you are not using it. To charge the S Pen, though, you need to attach it magnetically to the top (when held in a landscape orientation). The S Pen is also IP68 rated.
Display and cameras
The 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen on the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has a WQXGA+ resolution (2,960 x 1,848 pixels), a 120Hz variable refresh rate, and HDR10+. The S Pen stylus offers just 2.8ms latency while drawing and writing, offering a near-realistic feeling of using a real pen.
The screen is protected using Gorilla Glass, which features an Anti-Reflection coating to reduce glare and reflection from nearby light sources. The screen has an under-display fingerprint reader.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra features a quad-speaker setup in stereo mode. The device also features Dolby Atmos and 360 Audio (while using Galaxy Buds) for spatial audio.
It has two cameras on the front and two cameras on the rear. All those cameras can record up to 4K 60fps videos.
Specifications
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor featuring TSMC's 4nm fabrication process, eight high-performance CPU cores, and the Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU. This powerful chip is great at anything that you want it to get done, be it high-end gaming, multi-tab web browsing, or creative needs like video editing.
The chip is paired with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage. It has a microSD card slot for further storage expansion.
It has GPS, 5G (in cellular models), Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is powered by a massive, 11,200mAh battery that can last all day of regular usage. It can be charged at 45W using a USB PD PPS charger. The tablet doesn't come bundled with a charger, though.
Software
The tablet runs Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 software out of the box. It comes with several Galaxy AI features, including Circle to Search and Sketch to Image. The tablet will get major Android OS updates for at least four years.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has Samsung DeX and several Galaxy ecosystem features like App Continuity, Buds Auto Switch, screen mirroring from a Samsung laptop, SmartThings, Samsung Health, and Smart View.
