Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo

In most markets, Samsung offers two vacuum cleaner lineups. They are called Jet Stick and Jet Bot. On the one hand, Jet Sticks are cordless vertical vacuum cleaners that work more like traditional vacuums. On the other hand, Jet Bots are automated roaming vacuum cleaners that use clever hardware and software to clean floors automatically and perform other tasks regular vacuums cannot.

Samsung's latest Jet Bot series released in 2024 consists of two models. They are called Bespoke Jet Bot Combo and Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI.

Each of these two roaming vacuum cleaning robots comes with an All-in-One Clean Station with Auto Steam. Both models look and function almost the same and share features such as:

  • SmartThings app integration.
  • Floor surface detection capabilities.
  • Vacuuming and mopping capabilities (170rpm mop pads).
  • 4 cleaning modes.
  • Maximum run time of 180 minutes on a full battery charge.
  • 240-300 minutes of battery charging time.
  • Noise level of up to 87dB.
  • Washable filters.
  • 99.999% particle filtration for the exhaust.
  • Combo Brush and an additional Side Brush.
  • All-in-One Clean Stations that act as a home base and recharge the Bots.
  • Clean Stations have three containers for clean water (4L), dirty water (4L), and dust (2.5L).
  • A dust bin with 0.25L capacity integrated into the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo vacuum.
  • Auto Empty on Station functionality.
  • Auto Wash and Auto Steam for the mop pads.
  • LiDAR Navigation with 3D Mapping for SmartThings. (Support for 3D Map View, released in 2024)

Why you might want to buy the AI or non-AI model

The main components setting the two Bespoke Jet Bot Combo vacuum cleaners apart are AI (Artificial Intelligence) and camera systems.

While the standard Bespoke Jet Bot Combo relies on an IR (Infrared) Sensor for obstacle detection, the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI uses 3D cameras for better navigation. Refer to the two images below (left one is non-AI with IR Sensor — right one is AI with 3D front-facing cameras).

Samsung has trained the AI vacuum robot to detect object types, and based on this information, it can figure out room types, navigate obstacles better, and even detect different stain types. In some cases, the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI will later decide to roam again over a stained surface at a later time to ensure better cleaning.

The more advanced AI and imaging system can create No-Go Zones automatically. For the non-AI Jet Bot Combo, users can define No-Go Zones manually through the SmartThings app.

The 3D cameras employed exclusively by the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI model can also broadcast live video to the user's phone via the SmartThings app, even when they're not at home.

Samsung's AI-powered vacuum cleaner even has a Pet Service mode, which detects when your pets make noise if you're out. The vacuum sends appropriate notifications to your phone and can live-stream videos of your pets to your phone or even play soothing music to keep your pets entertained.

Both Bespoke Jet Bot Combo are premium robot vacuum cleaners. They're very clever and versatile and offer deep integration with the SmartThings platform, but the AI model with 3D cameras goes one or two steps above.

As of publishing this page, the only other Samsung vacuum cleaner with AI capabilities is the Bespoke Jet AI, which is part of the Jet Stick family. However, it doesn't have 3D cameras or Pet Service and doesn't use AI to the same extent as the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo robot vacuum.
